Welin Lambie will be exhibiting at the ASNE Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium September 29th – October 1st 2009. The symposium is held at the Town & Country Hotel, San Diego. Welin Lambie will be demonstrating the newly developed Virtual Maintenance Training System that will be delivered to USCG this fall.

Welin Lambie is very proud to announce that our davit Type: UDTD 2.8 A davits have been selected for the CVN 78 (USS Gerald L. Ford) under construction at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding in Newport News, Virginia.

Welin Lambie Davits for Canadian Forces “Glen” Tugs

Welin Lambie is pleased to have been selected to provide the Welin Lambie Type: SARBE 8 A all electric “green” rescue boat davit for the “Glen” Class YTB tractor tugs. The tugs are deployed on both the West Canadian Coast at Esquimalt and on the East Coast in Halifax. The 7 davits will be delivered in early 2009.

We are please to announce that we have completed the EMI test program on the Welin Lambie Davit Type: FAO10 A to the standards under MIL-STD-461E. The 14 week test program is thought to be one of the first to be conducted for the US Navy on a complete davit inside of a test chamber.

Navy Surface Warfare Center, Carderock awards Welin Lambie a 4 year contract to service and support all Welin davits in use with all US Federal Government vessels.
