We are pleased to announce that the new factory is now 100% complete. The consolidated facility of over 22,000 sq ft now houses all Welin Lambie administration, design/engineering, stores, machine shop and davit production / testing. The workshops have been dedicated to the memory of Graham Winders, our long time Production Director who passed away in 2005 and Judith Boyle another long time Welin Lambie employee who passed away in 2008.
Based on the requirements for a very light weight rescue boat davit we are please to confirm that we have secured multiple davit orders for a new class of CGC Patrol Vessels. The type: PIV davit offers a very low weight of just over 700 kg providing the vessel designer with valuable weight savings. Please contact Grahame Baker firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
“When you really need a davit” When one of our regular customers urgently required another Type: SARBE 8 A davit to add to the 20 they already had we accelerated the production on one system to meet their needs.
The end user elected to air freight the davit to the Middle East to ensure the made the narrow window that the OSV was available in dry dock.
